Referendum?

EU Membership

Despite the obvious fact that UKIP has no seats in Parliament it is becoming more obvious that our message is getting through to all voters of whatever political colour.

In a Poll, published on June 1st, the following figures were thrown up. The representative national survey of 1,984 adults was taken on-line by Angus Reid Public Opinion.

To the question "If a referendum on whether the United Kingdom should remain a member of the European Union were held tomorrow how would you vote?" 42% would vote to get out; 35% would vote to stay, 20% were unsure. In Party terms 57% Tories, 34% LibDems and 42% Labour voted this way.

To the question
"If a referendum on whether the United Kingdom should adopt the euro as currency were held to morrow, how would you vote?" Only 9% were in favour, whereas 79% were against. Again, in Party terms, 88% Tories, 76% Labour and 72% LibDems voted this way.
